Agreed Place has been available since 2020 and has proven to be very reliable. We ensure this through several built-in security measures. Additionally, together with you, we help keep this delivery option secure:
- Prevent fraud: Never share your tracking number and postal code. Others could use this to view and even change your delivery arrangement.
- You choose a location that you find secure, but if our courier has any doubts, they can decide not to leave the parcel and will attempt delivery again the next day at a DHL point or at your door.
- You cannot use the location around your home to have parcels delivered to another address.
- We advise against using Agreed Place for high-value orders. In these cases, use a DHL ServicePoint or choose a delivery time when you will be home.
- If you choose, the courier will first ring the doorbell and try to deliver the parcel to you in person. They will only use the agreed place if you do not answer.
