Returns Italy - Instructions
- Packaging
Please pack your return shipment in a stable package. The outer packaging must be sturdy. The heavier or bulkier the shipment, the tighter and more stable the goods must be packed. The packaging must not have any visible damage and, if necessary, must be reinforced with adhesive tape.
- Label
Please attach the return label to the package so that it is clearly legible. Please make sure that the label is not stuck over several sides of the package. If you stick the label on the old package, please attach the new label so that the old label is completely covered. If you do not have the option to paste over the old label, please place the new one on the largest side and make the old label unreadable, especially the barcodes.
- How to return
You can drop off your DHL Parcel Return Connect shipment at a DHL Express or Poste Italiane Servicepoint. Find your nearest location here: psf.dhl.com using the filter “Return”.
Note: Drop off is not allowed at Poste Italiane Postal Offices!
Please consider the maximum dimension and weight for your return drop off:
- DHL Express Servicepoints: 25 kg; 60 x 60 x 60 cm
- Poste Italiane - PUNTOPOSTE Servicepoints (tobacco stores): 15 kg; 36 x 37 x 56 cm
- Poste Italiane - SDA Parcel Station: 30 kg; 120 x 60 x 60 cm (list of SDA Parcel Stations: www.sda.it/wps/portal/Servizi_online/ricerca_filiali/)
- Dangerous goods in limited quantities
Goods falling under the category “Dangerous Goods in Limited Quantities” such as perfume, deodorant, cleaning supplies, first aid equipment, etc. must be dropped off ONLY at Poste Italiane Service Points.
- Receipt
Once you have dropped your parcel into one of the ServicePoints you will automatically receive a receipt by email/SMS sent to the email address provided. The email/SMS will contain the parcel information for tracking and is a proof of handover.
- Track & trace
As soon as you have dropped off your parcel, you can track it by entering your shipment ID: www.dhl.com/tracking
