How to return your item:
Package your items
The packaging should be made of strong, shock-resistant material that can withstand normal transport handling, stacking, and machine sorting. Keep in mind that the heavier your item is, the more important it is to use sturdy packaging. DHL does not provide transport packaging.
Attach the address label to the package
Make sure the address label is clearly visible and not folded over an edge, covered by tape, or anything similar. If there is already an address label on the package, place the new one over the old one. Ensure that the barcodes on the old label are not visible.
How do I return the package?
- If the package weighs a maximum of 44 lbs (20 kg) and is no longer than 59 inches (150 cm), or the length plus circumference is no more than 9.8 feet (3 meters), you can drop it off at one of our DHL ServicePoints. - If your package is larger than this, call DHL customer service at 1-800-345-345 to schedule a pickup. Make sure your package is easily accessible to the driver at the time of pickup.
Receipt for dropping off the package
If you drop off the package at a service location, you will receive a receipt there. If your package (over 44 lbs) is picked up, ask the driver to sign below as proof that you handed over the package with the items.
Proof of deposit
After you drop off your parcel, you will automatically receive a proof of deposit via e-mail or the DHL ServicePoint will print it for you.
To receive a proof of deposit for a collected parcel by DHL eCommerce, please download and fill out the form and hand it over to the DHL representative to sign it.
